National records will be recognised for individual Strings and Match results shot strictly in accordance with course of fire rules that take place in or during Sanctioned events only.  Targets used must correspond with the distance shot during any string or match.

Minimum records are maintained as follows:

- Match Aggregate - top 3 recorded scores by rifle specification,
- Match Strings     - top score by rifle specification.

- Records for IMC (International Match Course) - match and string.

- Records for VMC (Vintage Match Course) - match & strings.

- Records for TMC (Tactical Match Course) - match.

- Records for AMC (Australia Match Course) - match and strings.
