SINGLE ROUND LOADING BLOCK (SLRB) aka SINGLE SHOT BLOCK
AVAILABLE NOW.
A$35ea
- Tikka T3, T3X rifles
- Lithgow Crossover LA102 rifles,
Used to single round load the rifle.
Makes single feeding easy. Made of
lightweight synthetic material coming in at 75grams.
This single round loading block is suitable for any cartridge
from the smallest cartridge (eg 222) to the largest magnum cartridges. NO
MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED.
NOTE: These units are made as a tight fit, to make a repeater rifle perform like a single shot. The
release lever tang is made slightly over-length to allow for previous wear. If the block does not clip
in first go, then simply file off 0.1mm increments from the SRLB tang until it clips in and out to
your satisfaction (but it should be kept a tight fit).
MAJOR ADVANTAGES using a SRLB:
- Turns a repeater into a single shot, for accuracy development and ease of
loading.
- Load testing and development. Don't risk distorting or damaging your
bullet tips or alignment issues while chambering test rounds during load
development.
- Block the mag well to keep clean and free of foreign obstructions.
- When mag empty, drop the mag and insert the SRLB to quickly fire 1 extra round
(save time in competition).
- Use while cleaning the rifle to block the mag well from splatter and debris.
- Has a flat bottom to use as a second stability point when shooting in the field (off car bonnet, roof,
tree branch or stump, etc).
- Excellent for use as a palm rest while shooting offhand.

So many rifle owners want
the reliability and strength of a metal magazine for their rifle. But now
days, they want more - larger capacity, longer OAL and long wearing. AND,
they don't want to have to make modifications to obtain their needs.
Waters Rifleman has the answer... Waters Rifleman magazines allow shooters
to achieve thier desired magazine solution while keeping their rifle as standard factory issue for flexibility and simplicity.
- Models specifically designed for the
Tikka T3 & T3x (std), Tikka CTR, Tikka Tac A1, Lithgow Crossover LA102, HOWA
1500, Weatherby Vanguard, AI and AICS,
Verney Carron Speedline, Browning X-Bolt, Winchester 70 & XPR, Remington 700.
- Cartridges specially catered for: 223, 22BR, 6BR, 22-250, 243, 260, 6.5x55,
7x57, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6x47 and 6.5x47 Lapua, 308, 270, 280, 30-06, 9.3x62, and
all variants.
- Magnum cartridges 300 WSM, 7mm WSM, 7mm SAUM, 300 Win Mag, 7mm Rem Mag, 338
Win Mag, and all related family of cartridges.
- Made of light weight aircraft grade aluminium.
- Coating is HARD anodised (not regular decorative anodise)black finish (may be
some variation in colour from batch to batch).
- 5, 6, 8 and 10 round capacity of SAAMI specified dimensions of cartridges for
the named cartridge suitable to the magazine (ie. the magazine will
hold less than nominated capacity if larger cartridges are used, eg.
10x 3006 magazine will hold 8x 300WSM).
- Can be disassembled for easy cleaning and maintenance (recommended).
- Reliable tempered Stainless Steel coil spring.
- Deep side wall followers to reduce tipping and jamming (stove piping) and
increase reliability.
- Extended length internals to allow longer rounds with longer bullets or
bullets seated out further (eg. 223 loading 80 grain projectiles out to the
lands).
- Reliable loading and feeding.
- No more plastic magazine issues - plastic premature wearing, rounds "sticking
up", "stove piping", mis-feeding, over-riding, etc.
- A very cost effective solution for an advantageous quality magazine - no
modifications for mags to insert.
NOTE: While not specifically necessary, we do recommend a light application of
dry lube be applied after cleaning to ensure longevity and the best possible
operation.
FIT & FUNCTION: We let uses of these magazines do the talking for us...and their comments thus far have been tremendously positive. We made these magazines for the fastidious shooter that wants the BEST match grade AND MATCH WINNING magazine available. Likewise, shooters of the Waters Rifleman mags are expected to have a fundamental understanding of how magazines work - understanding tolerances, temperature change, round stacking geometry, etc. This is precision equipment, and precision is not sacraficed. Your magazine should be maintained. NOTE: While not specifically necessary, we do recommend a light application of dry lube be applied after cleaning to ensure longevity and the best possible operation. Click here for details:
DOESN'T FIT. There have been the odd occasion where a shooter magazine will not latching/clicking in place easily. We believe this is due to an intolerance of the rifle stock during moulding, or possibly swelling from moisture, or by over tightening of the stock take-down screws, or a number of other things. Also, some shooters are bedding their receivers, which increases the receiver height from the floor of the stock. Our mags are made to factory spec plus or minus 0.1mm, and from billet aluminium that won't suffer post machining change. If the magazine is too tight to latch, the only option is to file off material from the bottom of the latch tang. on front of mag. in 0.1mm increments until it clicks in. Don't worry about removing the black, as this will thin out with regular use anyway. The alternative is to shim the floorplate with some very thin material (eg. cut shims out of alum can). There is nothing wrong with the mag. Again, precision to a standard can result in issues due to variance in the rifle. Part of the game... Your magazine should be maintained. Click here for details:
TIGHT IS BEST: Ensuring a tight and solid fit keeps your repeater rifle close in performance as a bolt action single shot rifle. Tight and solid assembly and fixing keeps harmonic vibration even through the whole rifle system, and helps dampen the vibration quicker and minimise vibration intensity spots.
MARKING AND SACRIFICE: This magazine is made of metal. Metal on metal will always result in witness marks. Use of the WR mag will result in witness marks on the aluminium magazine body. This is always going to happen, and is preferred to protect undue wear in the more expensive rifle receiver. The sacrificial wear areas are the front latch tang, rear top flat where mating the trigger front tension leaf spring, and the top rear pivot corners. Witness marks can be marked over with black.

Belted magnum cartridges cycling is dependent on good stacking, sharpness of the belt rim edge, etc. In the 30-06 magazine, the 7mm Rem Mag have been tested extensively and worked well when overall length is close to max internal mag length. 300 Win Mag rounds seat and feed OK, but the max internal length of mag might not be attractive to some 300WM owners making this magazine, perhaps, not the perfect solution. Bottom line, is belted magnum cases will fit but due to the belt itself it will be a case of user/buyer beware and purchase at own discretion.

limiting factory is the max size of the mag well in a standard T3... These

testing, have worked surprisingly
