A memo has been received from the SSAA in regards to the sale of firearms or parts.  Details of the memo as follows.....

It has been stated that the firearms legislation requires that any ad for the sale of any firearm or firearm parts (see definition below), must include your licence number as well as the name and address of the dealer that you wish to witness the sale.

"Definitions - Section 4(1) of the Firearms Act"
"firearm part means a barrel, breech, pistol slide, frame, receiver, cylinder, trigger mechanism, operating mechanism or magazine designed as, or reasonably capable of forming, part of a firearm."
