NOTE:  This match was changed from an IMC to a VMC due to the NSW Golf Club running the Australian Open.  The carpark was used for golf patron parking, restricting us to 200m, hence the VMC was shot in place as a local match only for the Sydney Xmas BBQ leadup.

Please ensure you sign in at the SSAA range office prior to entering range & handling firearms.

 

This is the last of the GT series, and shot in they typical sportsman like fashion, but with a Xmas twist.  The day is the IMC only.  There are NO trophies for this match, as the funds raised from the meet will be put towards a healthy and generous food and drink spread, and prize table.

 

Bring your Shooting Mat, Eye & Ear protection, Shooters Licence, Spotting Scope/Binoculars, usual gear.

 

SUNDAY   7.30am Arrive, Sign-on, scrutineering, briefing and detail allocations.

 

 

INTERNATIONAL MATCH COURSE

 

 Rifle Classes:    All rifle types welcome.  Each rifle will be grouped into similar specs & natures.

 

            Warm Up - 3 sighting shots in 3 minutes at start distance in any position – rests permitted.

                        - 300 Slow Fire            2 sighters, then 20 shots Prone, 20min total.

                        - 300 Rapid Fire           2 sighters, then 10 shots Prone (from standing), 70sec

                        - 200 Rapid Fire           2 sighters, then 10 shots Sitting/Kneeling (from standing), 60sec

                        - 100 Slow Fire.           2 sighters, then 10 shots Standing/Off Hand, 10 min total.

 

Note:    - All rifle classes shoot together but compete separately per medal allocations.

 

Rewards: Grading/Classification maintenance, Qualification attainment and post Grand Tour results.

 

 

Cost:  $20 for whole day and includes free BBQ lunch and a drink.

BRING YOUR GEAR, A FRIEND AND A SMILE.

Make a weekend of it.  All welcome.  Feel free to join in on a local club shoot Saturday.  Shoot courses of fire vary, and are fun for all who participate.  Be at the service range by 11.30am Saturday and ask for an SSAA affiliated club.  Call closer to weekend for some specific details.  Great warm-up and practice opportunity.
