BRING - Spotting Scope (for marked shots and sighters), Shooting MAT, Grade Cards (if have one), all other shooting needs.

Overview:  ASRA (Australian Service Rifle Assn) & AIHPA Nationals:  Shooters may enter up to 2 rifle spec classes over the 2x IMC matches – 1 per day only. Shooter chooses which day they will shoot their elected rifle spec.  Shooters shooting the same spec over 2 days will have the result from the first day count in the spec used.  The forwards compatible rule applies, eg. if using Spec 1 both days, the second day will be used in a higher spec.

Thursday.  Practice from 12pm.  Start at 200 and work back to 600.  No late entries accepted after distance has started.

 

FRIDAY                  8am ARRIVAL AND SIGN-ON.

 

MATCH 1a - AUSTRALIAN IMC SERVICE NATIONALS (for first spec rifle)

                   (All Rifles: Std, Mod, Match, Optical, Sporter, Hunter)

String 1            200,     Deliberate         - 2 sighters then 10 shots, Standing Off Hand, on NRA SR target – 10min.

String 2            200,     Rapid               - 2 sighters, 10 shots 60 seconds, Sitting or Kneeling, SR target. +10sec Int

String 3            300,     Rapid               - 2 sighters then 10 shots 70 sec, Prone.(Scoped Internal mags-10sec extra)

String 4            600,     Deliberate         - 2 sighters then 20 shots, Prone, NRA MR-1 target – 20min

MATCH 2   - TACTICAL NATIONALS – “ANY Rifle” (any sight) (bi-pod or front rest etc only)

Warm Up         5 shots in 5 minutes @ 600.                  Entire match shot on MR-1 target at 600.

(20 rounds)      - Deliberate, 10 rounds in 6minutes (no marking), then directly into next string,

                        - Double Snap, 5x 6 second exposures, 2 shots per exposure – 10rnds total

SATURDAY           7.30am ARRIVAL AND SIGN-ON.

MATCH 1b - ASRA & AUSTRALIAN IMC SERV NATS (ASRA any spec, AIHPA 2nd choice of Spec)

SUNDAY             7.30am ARRIVAL AND SIGN-ON.

MATCH 3 - “AMC” ASRA SERVICE NATIONALS (ALL rifle specs)

300m Slow Fire,           Prone U/S        2 sighters + 10 rounds              7.5min, Type-B 4x4

            300m  Rapid Fire,        Prone U/S        2 sighters + 5+5 rounds            30-30-30sec,   Fig 11

            300m  Snap Fire,          Prone U/S        2 sighters + 10 rounds              3sec per shot,   Fig 12

            200m  Rapid Fire,        Sitting U/S        2 sighters + 5+5 rounds            30-30-30sec,   Fig 11

            200m  Snap Fire,          Sitting U/S        2 sighters + 10 rounds              3sec per shot,   Fig 12

 

 

MATCH 4 – AUSTRALIAN MASTERS. Agg of string 1, 3 & first 10 shots of string 4 from Match 1a or 1b.

            - Spec 1 – Top 6 (Service Std/As-Issued),   - Spec 2 – Top 6 (Service Modified)    - Spec 3&5 – Top 6 (Match)

 

Match 1 (a&b) : IMC Aust Nats:  - Spec 1 – Top 6 (Service Std/As-Issued),        - Spec 1a – Top (No1/No4/No5 303).

            - Spec 2 – Top 6 (Service Modified)            - Spec 3 – Top 6 (Match Rifle)         - Spec 5 – Top 6 (Optical)

 

Match 2: Tactical Nationals:       - Top 3 (Any rifle) outright.

 

Match 3: ASRA AMC Service Rifle Nationals:

            - Spec 1 – Top 6 (Service Std/As-Issued),   - Spec 2 – Top 6 (Service Modified)    - Spec 3&5 – Top 6 (Match)

Match 4: Australian Masters      - Titles by rifle spec.

 

Cost:  $30 per day or $50 for entire weekend.

Covers range fee’s, BBQ lunch each day and trophies. Just show up each day.

Accommodation: - If not camping, plenty of Motels 20min from range (Tamworth) – self to organise.
