Every Service rifle enthusiast should not miss this event.  Something for everyone!

Rifle Specifications (Classes): ALL rifles must have an operating magazine. Consult rules for full specs.

Spec 1: Service - Standard Iron - Any issued iron sights service rifle in original condition - zero modifications             Spec 2:   Service - Modified Iron - As above, or faithful reproduction, modified beyond spec - service calibre.

Spec 3:   Match - Match Iron - Any commercial, custom or service rifle, of any calibre, with iron sights.

Spec 5:   Service/Match - Optical - As per Specs 1, 2, or 3 but fitted with optical sights

                    8.00am: Sign-on, briefing and squadding, followed with day briefing – DO NOT BE LATE.

                   Firing commences  NLT 0900

Event Outline:  National Match Course and Vintage Match Course

SATURDAY AM/PM -  National Match Course - Busselton Open XC Champs.

            STRING 1                      2 non scoring sighters, 10 scoring, @ 200 slow fire application, standing unsupported

            STRING 2                      2 non scoring sighters, 10 scoring, @ 200 sitting from standing, rapid,  60 secs,

            STRING 3                      2 non scoring sighters, 10 scoring, @ 300 prone from standing, rapid 70 secs

            STRING 4                      2 non scoring sighters, 20 scoring, @ 400 slow fire application prone

 Trophies: Top 6 spec 1, and Top 3 specs 2, 3 & 5.

SAT AFTERNOON - Vintage Match Course - Busselton Open Vintage Champs

Note:           “Vintage” shoot is for spec 1 or standard as issued rifles - no modifications.

5 Sighters in 5 mins @200,

            STRING 1          10 Scoring shots-           Prone Deliberate - 10 mins,

            STRING 2          10 Scoring shots-           Prone from Standing Rapid - 70 secs,

            STRING 3          10 Scoring shots-           Standing Unsupported Deliberate - 10 mins.

Trophies: Top 3 Spec 1 only.

Fees: $30 for day.

BBQ LUNCH SUPPLIED FREE TO COMPETITORS

Tea, coffee, milk supplied, soft drinks available

No pre-nominations required, just up show up for the day.
