Introduction: This is the inaugural running of the WA State Titles for Australian High Power Rifle and we want YOU to “keep’em in the X”.  Every Service, Field and Match rifle enthusiast should not miss this event.  Something for everyone!

Important* Weekend Outline: This shoot offers a double shot for multiple rifle spec scores in the National Tour.

- Each detail will receive a 3 minute preparation period to make ready to shoot. There will be NO extensions or

exceptions to this - shooters must be ready to go at all times.

- Shooters may enter up to 2 classes over the weekend – 1 per day only. Shooter chooses which day they will shoot their

elected rifle spec, which that score will count towards the State Championships. Shooters shooting the same spec

over 2 days will have the result from the first day count – there is no “best score” option.

Rifle Specifications(Classes)No Cross Entering on the day.  Note:  ALL rifles, of any spec, must have an operating magazine. The forwards compatible rule will apply, i.e. Spec 1 can be used in Spec 3 etc.  Consult rules for full specs.

Spec 1:   Service - Standard Iron - Any issued iron sights service rifle in original condition - zero modifications.

Spec 2:   Service - Modified Iron - As above, or faithful reproduction, modified beyond spec - service calibre.

Spec 3:   Match    - Match Iron - Any commercial, custom or service rifle, of any calibre, with iron sights.

            Spec 5:   Service/Match - Optical - As per Specs 1, 2, or 3 but fitted with optical sights.

Schedule         8.00am:  Sign-on, briefing and squadding, followed with day briefing – DO NOT BE LATE.

For Weekend   8.30am: Warm up:  200 – 3 rounds any position, each shot marked.

Event Outline: Each day will feature the “National Match Course-plus” consisting of an additional 300 string.

HP RIFLE SATURDAY – WA STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS OPEN (for 1st choice of rifle spec)

Note:  Matches 1&2, and 3&4 are shot back to back.

Note: Strings 1, 2, 3 & 5 make up the “National Match Course” for classification(grading), qualification and International postal.

Note:  Matches 2&3, and 4&5 are shot back to back.

Trophies:         WA State Titles (aggregate by rifle specifications)

Awards:           - Spec 1 – Top 6 (Service Std/As-Issued),            - Spec 2 – Top 3 (Service Modified)

                        - Spec 3 – Top 3 (Match Rifle)                             - Spec 5 – Top 3 (Optical)

Results also go towards the “Australian National Tour Championships” and all entrants receive competitor patch.

 

Fees: $20 per day, or $35 for both days

Additional one off event purchase, AIHPA event pass $5 per member, $10 non member (non members may join on day)

Fees include a basic sausage sizzle BBQ lunch.  Bring own refreshments.

No pre-nominations required, but would appreciate intent to attend by 5th October.

Then, just up show up for the weekend…….

Facilities camping on range (toilets, showers, kitchen). Major towns, Bunbury or Busselton 25 min from range.

Range is located 2.5 hours south of Perth central.
