AIHPA HIGH POWER RIFLE
2004 INTERNATIONAL INTERNET POSTAL

“NATIONAL MATCH COURSE”
“INTERNATIONAL EVENT INVITATION” 

2004 will see the inaugural running of the International Internet Postal Championships for High Power Rifle.  Every clubs in the world is invited to participate in this Internet Postal Shoot by completing the USA High Power Rifle, “National Match Course”.  This competition will run from 1st January until 30th June 2004 inclusive. 

This challenge is open to shooters of any country using rifles of a military/service origin or match rifle specs, as follows, 

- Service Rifle (As-Issued), for military/service rifles fitted only with iron sights that were issued to military or service forces.  These rifles must be “as-issued” and in no way carry any form of modifications or enhancements to any part of the rifle (internal or external) in any way and in a military calibre. 

- Modified Service Rifle and Match Target Rifle.  This category is broken down into 2 sub-categories, but both compete together. 

Service Rifles of military or service calibre with iron only sights that carry modifications and/or enhancements in areas such as the barrel, stock, bedding, trigger and sights that in any way, makes the rifle no longer “As-issued” or it changes/improves the appearance, accuracy and/or shootability of the firearm etc. 

Match Rifles with iron sights of military, commercial or custom origins built for this course of competition, or similar in any calibre. 

To participate, simply run a “National Match Course” and submit your scores to rifle @ aihpa.com before the 15th July 2004.  The submitted results may come from ANY event where the “National Match Course” was run under the supervision of an experienced range officer, competition officer or experienced club executive.  Scores must be submitted by one of these delegates outlining the details the following: 

            - Shooter/s Name (first and last), Club, State and Country.

            - Classification/Grade (High Master, Master, Expert, Sharpshooter, Marksman).

            - Rifle class (As-Issued OR Modified/Match).

            - Score for each 4 stages and the Grand Total for the match. 

Shooters may have as many attempts at this event within the prescribed period.  Only each shooters BEST score will be used in the final scoring.  Shooters may compete in BOTH classes if they so wish.  Score sheets etc are available from the web site, or may be submitted electronically via a spreadsheet, or other means, provided all the required information is clear and concise.
